The Decision Maker’s Handbook to Data Science was a seminal piece of work that introduced decision makers to the world of data science and AI. The first book of each kind, when it was written, it helped many individuals and organisations better understand what data science is, and how it can be used successfully to bring successful business outcomes.

It’s been 2 years since the book was published. Therefore, Dr Kampakis, The Data Scientist team and The Tesseract Academy decided that it would be a good opportunity to run an event to discuss about the book, and what has happened in the world of AI and data science over the last couple of years.

You can see the recording of the event below.

We discussed topics such as:

  • What has changed in the world of data science and AI in the last 2 years?
  • What are the latest advancements in data strategy and data culture?
  • What choices do entrepreneurs have when hiring data scientists?
  • What are the latest frameworks that can help in data science adoption?

The event was a great success with over 130 people registering! The event also included an announcement by the Tesseract Academy that it will be launching a certificate for Executive Data Science.
